• Display name - shown to other users on shared lists
• Shopping lists and items - the content you create within the app
• Device information - device type and push notification token for delivering notifications

• To send push notifications about shared list activity
• To authenticate your identity and secure your account

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Your shopping list data is only shared with users you explicitly invite to collaborate on a list.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and API tokens are hashed using SHA-256. We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Firebase Cloud Messaging - for push notifications
• Google Sign-In / Apple Sign-In - for optional social authentication

Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the app settings. When you delete your account, all your personal data, shopping lists, and associated information are permanently removed from our servers.

Children's Privacy

Our app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy within the app.
